Managing the Moments

This blog chronicles the life of a boomer lesbian who became a mom in her fifth decade. It was started when I got diagnosed with ovarian cancer and was done as a way to keep in touch with friends when I did not have enough energy to email all of them. Now, in my second year of living with cancer, the blog is a way to keep my friends and family in the loop as I try to manage cancer, a lively second grader and my life all at the same time.

About Me

Debra
Currently fighting the biggest battle of my life with cancer. And doing it while parenting a lively seven year old. Exhilarating and exhausting.
